I have a son (8 years old) with cerebral palsy. He has many challenges but he is a very happy little boy and I would not trade him for the world. He has a form of cp where he has spastic diplegia (lower portion). He's developmentally delayed - functions at about 18 months old. However, he's the joy of my life and I will protect him at my own expense! Fortunately, he hasn't had anyone that's teased him that I know of. I would be ready to fight a kid..i'm serious.
