Welcome To Karen's World Of Hope
This site has been developed by Karen Lynn over the past 11 years as an act of love and dedication to helping others with special needs. It has been the high point in Karen's life to share her story with others to find encouragement in stressful situations. Karen also shares with others that there is hope still in living a life with Cerebral Palsy. Her life-long experience and challenges with C.P. and Dyslexia have made Karen passionate about sharing her experience, advice and strength.
You are not alone no matter what your disability is. Karen believes with all her heart that she has walked this path for all of you so that you will not have to walk it alone. She has worked tirelessly to stop inhumane discrimination and feels very deeply about this. She aims to stop the discrimination from ever happening to anyone ever again.
On the following pages you can read all about Karen's life from the moment she was born until now. She shares her story with all of you in the hopes that it will give you the encouragement and strength to keep on keeping on. Karen truly believes that she has walked this path to help shield you and help you. She has continuously climbed the ladder of success, regardless of remarks, comments and obstacles in her way. She has developed an iron will due to the adversities she has faced.
Karen hopes to empower people through her website, her motivational speaking, her fitness class lessons, and her book - The Broken Hoof. She focuses in educating others through her advocacy work and mentoring capabilities. Karen is on an endless journey towards 'justice for all.' Her continued determination, encouragement and tenacity are a testament of her sincere desire to put an end to discrimination as well as healing the wrongs done to her in the past and the present.

Author, Poet, Advocate, and Teacher
Having recently released her first book in 2006, Karen is very proud to bring to your attention the '…warm and inspiring story about a young disabled girl who finds friendship and companionship in a carrousel horse.' This story demonstrates the daily challenges and achievements of growing up with a disability (Cerebral Palsy). In addition to writing poetry, stories and books, Karen also provides motivational/inspirational public speaking services as well as adapted fitness programs. Her adapted fitness programs include instruction specifically developed for disabled individual(s) who want to get healthy and work through their challenges while gaining confidence and encouragement.
Karen resides in Torrance, CA, and even though many of her clients are located in Southern California, she provides these services not only for people with physical disabilities, but also for seniors and any individuals who just want to stay fit. Karen not only teaches in Torrance and the nearby cities of Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and San Pedro, but she also offers her services nationally.
